Drive down the 1001 Road to the east of Sanammyeon Office and you will get to Ucheon Village located in Ucheonri at the end of Guryong reservoir. This village was formed from the sprawling hills of Mt. Waryongsan, the largest mountain in Sacheon. The name Ucheon has Fengshui background. The entire area is shaped as a cow with the cow’s tail stretching to the Mt. Waryongsan and the village being the head of the cow. This shape symbolizes prosperity as it resembles cow that’s fed in the greenery of Mt. Waryongsan and is resting on its belly by the stream.
