About Taste of
Sacheon
Sacheon’s Seonjinri-seong (fort) was built by the Japanese troops that invaded Korea during Imjinweran (Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592). That is why some call it Seonjinriwe-seong meaning a Japanese fortress. What remains now is only the vestiges of the fort. In the spring, cherry blossoms bloom over this area as if to try to cover the sad history of the past and greet the visitors.
