General Yi Sun-shin spent a night here after winning his first battle during Imjinweran (Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592). Nosan Lee Eunsang sought this area to record General Yi’s achievements in his biography of Yi. Thus, this place boasts rich history and beautiful sights. There are large scale fields of grape, pear, kiw-fruit, as well as sashimi restaurants, yachting areas, windsurfing areas, banana boat rides and other various water sports around this area, making it an ideal destination for families.
