Sacheon High-Tech Aerospace Science Museum is located in the aerospace industrial city, Sacheon. After its official opening in May 2013, it has been inspiring infinite dreams and imaginations about aerospace science, as the nation’s largest aerospace science museum.The museum features the permanent exhibition hall, 4D theater, special exhibition hall, and outdoor exhibition hall. 5 themes zones (Discovering new thoughts, renewing energy, flight experience, space expedition, and space travel) compose the exhibition.

Sunjin-ri Fort

Sunjin-ri Fort is most beautiful when its cherry blossoms fully bloom.

Sunjin-ri Fort in Sacheon is Japanese-style Fort, built by Japanese army during Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592. That’s why some people refer to it as Sunjin-ri Japanese Fort. Now you can only identify traces of the Fort on a shallow-sloping hill. Visitors will be welcomed with full blown cherry blossoms around the Fort in spring, as if it tries to cover its wound with the flower./ Sunjin-ri Fort is at its zenith during spring, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Sacheon Bay Coastal Road

Sacheon Bay Coastal Road connects Sacheon Regular Industrial Complex to Namyang-dong Coastal Road.

This is an eco-friendly and pleasant road, where you can enjoy beautiful landscape. The road has a local characteristic and signification. At Ryonghyeon-myeon Geummun Coast, you will hear children’s joyful laughter coming out of gatbul-madang (mudflat plaza) and chehum-madang (experience plaza). Also, at the coast, there is mudflat viewing facility and windmills that make you feel as if you are in a different country. In the offshore, there is a raft-type mudflat trail that moves up and down depending on tides, where you can enjoy the sea at a closest distance, and be able to observe and experience mudflats.

Mochung Park

Mochung Park is an urban natural park connected to a coast in Songpo-dong, Sacheon-si. The park is also called as Geobuk-deung (Turtle’s back), because it is shaped like a turtle’s back. At the bottom of the park, you can look down Sunjin-ri Fort far across the sea, and can also see Noryang, following the current of Hallyeo Waterways.

Silannakjo (Sunset)

Sunset at Silannakjo is one of the Sacheon’s Eight Beautiful Sights. You must not miss seeing sunset at Silannakjo if you come to Sacheon.

The sight of a sea seen from the coast, and a sunset glowing over the ocean and faraway mountain will definitely move your heart. The sunset has been ed as the one of nine most gorgeous sunsets in Korea by Korean Tourism Organization in 2000. Surrounding bamboo weirs are type of Sacheon’s typical primitive stationary net fishery; anchovies caught from here have excellent taste and quality.

Changseon•Samcheonpo Bridge

The last place of Sacheon Coastal Road Course is Changseon•Samcheonpo Bridge, which is also famous for being one of the Sacheon’s Eight Most Beautiful Sights.

Changseon•Samcheonpo Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects Daebang-dong, Sacheon and Changseon-myeon, Namhae-gun. It is a landmark in harmony with a natural beauty of Hallyeo Sea. The bridge won the grand prize in ‘100 Most Beautiful Roads in Korea’, a contest supervised by Ministry of Construction and Transportation and hosted by Korea Road and Transportation Association in 2006. The bridge is a beautiful construction itself, but it also has a splendid nightscape. / You can enjoy the nightscape at Changseon•Samcheonpo Bridge past 7 PM in weekends!
